Apple today announced the launch of its much anticipated video service, Apple TV+, at its #AppleEventin Cupertino, California. It has been a long time in the making for a combination of reasons, not least of which is a concern among TV networks of making Apple too strong a partner that they cannot control.

Apple fans this week have been speculating about the March 25 th event which the tech major has announced it will be holding at its Cupertino, California headquarters.  The tagline for the event is “It’s showtime”, and Apple has been dropping big hints that it will make a significant announcement about its forthcoming video service.
