The brief

MIDiA were tasked with completing an all-encompassing industry study for a music platform seeking investment.

The approach

We developed a creator and fan market sizing forecast model, creating a TAM, SAM, SOM model for each market. In conjunction, we evaluated the platform’s position in the marketplace through competitor analysis, a bespoke creator survey and qualitative interviews with creators, fans, and music industry professionals. The combination of approaches delivered a thorough understanding of the platform’s current and future position in the market which underpinned the conclusion of our strategic fit analysis.
