The brief

A leading pro-audio company commissioned MIDiA to conduct a segmentation study of music creators to better understand their needs and identify high-priority customer segments for product development and marketing.

The approach

MIDiA carried out a global survey of over 3,000 music creators, followed by creator interviews and market analysis. We segmented creators based on their primary creative behavior, resulting in clear and distinct behavioural segments which were mapped to the product portfolio to identify growth opportunities. We developed a growth strategy framework to prioritise the most promising segment for growth based on the opportunity size and demand for flagship products.
