Business Development Manager Opportunity

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing team. MIDiA is the leading authority on the digital content marketplace with multiple FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients, with its main office located in central London.

With a strong global network, MIDiA’s data, analysis and consulting services give clients market insight, deep and immediately useful analysis, comprehensive data and future trends for the digital content marketplace. Our current research practices include Music, Video, Games, Media, Marketing and Brands, as well as our cloud data tools Fuse and our forthcoming MIDIA Index audience measurement tool.

We are looking for a client-obsessed individual to join MIDiA’s sales team as a Business Development Manager, to focus on the TV, Video and Media sectors. The successful candidate will report directly to MIDiA’s head of commercial. The role will combine lead generation, winning of new business, and account management. The role will be based in our central London office.

Remuneration

Competitive according to experience and significant quarterly sales commission.

Video Analyst

We are looking for a Video Analyst to join our fast-growing team. MIDiA is a five year old media research company with multiple FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients and has established itself as a leading authority on the digital content marketplace.

With a growing global network, MIDiA’s data and analysis services give clients market insight, deep and immediately useful analysis, comprehensive data and future trends for the digital content marketplace. Our current research practices include Music, Video, Games, Media, Marketing and Brands as well as our cloud data tool Fuse.

The Video Analyst will be based in our London office, reporting directly to the co-founder. You will join MIDiA’s fast-growing video analyst team, producing research and analysis focused on how streaming is transforming the TV landscape. The issues you will help our clients navigate include: subscription video on demand (SVOD),  ad-supported video on demand (AVOD), broadcaster OTT streaming strategy, consumer trends, and content acquisition. We want you to help our TV industry clients prosper in the streaming era by identifying the opportunities and risks presented by digital business models and services.

Building on MIDiA’s unrivalled view of the wider digital content marketplace you will produce research and analysis around broader transformative trends, such as the rise of the post-peak attention economy and competition for digital wallet share.

You will either currently work in a strategy, commercial or marketing role with a TV or video company, or you will be an experienced industry analyst with a track record of delivering high-quality research and consulting. You will also have a strong network of relationships within the TV and video sector across multiple countries.
